Printing is it a big deal?

Be able to use printers shouldnt be a big deal. sometimes you need copies of documents or send a nice letter. Im all for printers
Depends on the person and the situation. If you were going to carry in an area where you are not supposed to I'd say printing is of paramount importance.
In any case I do not want anyone to know I'm armed. I don't want the hassle and I do want to preseve that element of suprise. If printing is not a big deal in a given situation why not just open carry a larger gun? I have open carried in PA a few times. Typically to or from the range if I stop at a convience mart for something.

That's it in a nutshell.
Day to day I dont think about it much.
I live in a very rural area where not many people see me.
Probably 80% of the time im in more danger from a rabid skunk or a coyote than from a criminal.
Saying that, all my carry set-ups are very concealed.
Even my Shield in a DeSantis OWB is undetectable under a tshirt.

It's a different mindset based on your location.
Up in the sticks...No need to worry.
In a place where you'll get kicked out if discovered and you need to be there..... Good need to worry.

Don't know how much of a big deal it is, it's all relevant to where you are. I've never cared and never worried one bit. That's just my take on the subject.
Maybe. But also because I’m the one you’re worried about and I’ve never heard of “printing” being an issue legally.

A guy I know carries in schools and in the Post Office. He once told me he went to NYC and Jersey too. Printing and his well being is a real concern for him.
Well if you shouldn’t be carrying then printing is obviously a concern. I’m sure gangbangers worry about printing lol
It's also kinda poor form to "obvious carry".

I do t worry about it because my wife doesn't even know when I have my gun on me until she puts her arm around my waiste. She should pretty much know I have it since the only place I don't have it is at work.

To worry Implies guilt or knowledge of doing something wrong. You should be smart carrying regardless of where, what, when or how. And carry concealed should mean that you carry in a manner that is not only easily accessible, but also in a manner that other than maybe to trained eyes, is undetectable. I believe too that advertising you are armed and where, lends to a disadvantage if someone wants to cause you harm. As for LE, well, they know, and you should know, how to handle that interaction if carrying and confronted by LE. So again... Why worry? If you worry, then you probably shouldn't be carrying. Just my opinion

Well, I for one do not worry as my Shield is completely invisible IWB. But I'm still searching for a holster that doesn't leave the but of the grip jutting outward horribly. I just carry the Shield, I think it provides adequate firepower fo EDC carry.Why worry?

If its still easy enough to draw, try canting it forward a bit. I had the same issue with the 8 round mag in my Shield. My AG IWB holster is canted just right to disappear.
With the holsters I have can't dosen't help. I need something that twists the but towards my body. The Shield however I can carry however and it's invisible. Even when I bend down or kneel it's hard to see and that's just under a T shirt.
My AG holster holds my shield so close it leaves an imprint of the grip on my side. It took some getting used to drawing but now its second nature.
I use a hybrid holster, very comfy and it's sucks the gun in tight to my side. Maybe I should try a hybrid holster for the PPQ? I had wanted to stay OWB with though.

No offense to any of you but you sound like printing is cool or a badge of honor. The Marine in me says that it's unsat and sloppy. I'm of the mindset that if you are going to do something, you do it right. You wouldn't wear a dirty, wrinkled shirt would you? Or maybe you do. I don't know. I'm not the prettiest dude, but I care about my appearance. I wouldn't tolerate sloppiness from my troops in my squad. Just saying.
Also printing in the sticks is a lot different than printing downstate or where you aren't supposed to print if you get my meaning.

I use a CCW badge and chain around my neck when I wear my wife beater for that cool uniformed city cop look. I tuck my gun in my pants mexican carry style too and like to fold part of the wife beater behind it just to show off my piece.
