Here's an interesting video from a defense attorney I've been listening to lately.
The act had nothing to do with any "script" they were not filming anything at the time..Could Baldwin, in the act of filming that scene, deviated from the script, and shot into the wall?
No.
He's a victim???? Are you outta your fuckin mind or maybe you should lay off the crack pipe.He is a victim, and was not drunk or high at the time.
They don't, that’s why the involuntary manslaughter charge. How does anyone know, except for him, if he didn’t mean to do it?
The fact that Hollywood does things a certain way is not sufficient to say that's how they *should* do them.As much as I hate to, I must give Baldwin a half pass on the shooting....
Should he have checked the ammo???....does any Hollywood actor check the ammo in the guns? I give you "1923".........and "Reacher" the shoot out scenes with the sheepherders and others were classic...........hundreds of blanks.......only the armorers checked anything.
Production company (his) and INS have to pay.....Baldwin has to live with it......if he did not intend to kill, then it is the legal definition of an accident.......like skidding a truck on black ice and killing three people in a Fiat 500.
It was the armorers responsibility to secure the weapons. Don't know how that should translate to responsibility - did she leave them out, did someone else pull them out while she was gone?if the armorer was not there why should she be going to Jail .. ???
that is like someone breaks into your home and steals your gun and ammo and goes and kills someone down the street ..
but it's your fault for letting them break in and steal your gun and ammo ...
Read this, then tell me he’s a victim. Remember, he’s not just an actor, he’s a producer on this film.Well, the fact is now that he is charged with INVOLUNTARY manslaughter...........................
Did not mean to do it.
Was deliberate recklessness or criminal intent involved? No--- incompetence and a stackup of acts that ultimately resulted in the tragic end..................Could Baldwin, in the act of filming that scene, deviated from the script, and shot into the wall?
No.

Here is an example has has not gone to trial yet...........A truck, now Car #1...... ran a stop sign............Car#2 was driven by a 17 year old who hit the Truck at 60 mph, T-boning the truck and killing the truck driver and a passenger in the car.........
Who is to blame..2 dead................no trial yet...........

He pointed the gun at her for absolutely no reason, he then cocked the hammer and pulled the trigger. It was not an "accident" during a filming, it was reckless. Involuntary manslaughter is a dumbed down charge. I dont know the laws in New Mex, but in NY he could also be charged with reckless endangerment, which carries more time than some bullshit "involuntary" charge. He's getting away with mureder.Again..........did he mean to shoot the victim?
To me the REAL mystery is, who put then left live ammo in the gun, and why. Seems that person is as guilty as anyone.
Im all in that it was Baldwin himself. I do believe he was shooting live ammo earlier that day. And unless he had his ammo girl reload for him every six shots ,( not likely) he probably loaded the weapon himself . How easy could it have been to have a few live rounds in his pockets? We all came home from the range and found a round or two in a jacket or pocket . Who knows if she didnt just hand him the blanks against the rules? who knows if he didnt leave the blanks on a table and came back and loaded it himself?
This girl didn't have a very complicated job, what complicated it was the fact there were live rounds on set and they somehow got mixed . A mistake that would not have happened if they followed their protocols .
they are making the argument of who loaded the gun. Does'nt matter. who pointed the gun and killed a woman without checking the weapon ?
Upcoming scene had nothing to do with anything, the girl that was shot dead wasnt "in the scene" and it wasnt a scene, he pointed the gun at a girl behind a camera in between takes. Maybe he wanted her dead and loaded the gun, they dont know, and have no way of knowing, bottom line, he cocked and pulled the trigger, not by accident. Like I said earlier, if I pointed a gun at you at the range and pulled the trigger the "I didnt know it was loaded" defense aint gonna save me like it is apparently saving him.Consider this, what if someone on the set or crew wanted the girl dead, and was familiar with the upcoming scene.

You sure are full of dumb takes. Juries are a group of the dumbest people that get past two rounds of slimeball attorneys, hear what they're allowed to hear, and can come to agreement on when all of them mostly want to leave. The jury will hear all the above..................juries tend to get it right.
Seems to have a creepy bromance going on with AlecAlmost as dumb as your take that Alec isn't responsible for his own actions.
Thanks for proving my point. I am completely unsurprised that you've managed to get picked for several juries. See my above comment on the composition of juries.I have served on several juries..............
because someone has to take the fall for Baldwin killing someoneArmorer on Alec Baldwin Movie ‘Rust’ Found Guilty of Involuntary Manslaughter
