Milled the lower on a Ghost Gunner 1 with spindle upgrade yesterday. Assembled all components yesterday after the lower cooled down. The Milling process makes the damn thing too hot to play with.
zeroed at 25 yards with CCI Mini mag target load 40 grain copper plated round nose 1235 FPS.
I did two mag dumps with the box of random bullets I had in a tin can. Then I proceeded to shoot ten rounds of each type of ammo I had brought along for testing. The gun functioned flawlessly even with Federal high velocity power flite ammo from 1973.
All groups were shot with a front bag only at 25 yards. The CMMG 22LR barrel and bolt combination liked some ammo more than others but some of the deviation in groups has to be attributed to my eyesight and the red dot. Below are pictures of the groups and the ammo associated with those groups. The gun was not cleaned between groups and only allowed to cool in the amount of time it took to walk to target take a picture and walk back.
