Start moving on to large shells - anti vehicle/ship stuff 20mm and bigger

Well now that you have a .38 Special, you are like those crusty guys in your department that refuse to get a 9mm and carry the .38 Special in those worn now brown holsters to show everyone how much time they have.

Are any of those guys left or have they been forced to upgrade?

A handful, including my last driver who is an amazing shot (fellow gun buff) but still worried me every night due to his 6 shot maximum effectiveness lol.

The department is actually holding its final transition training next month. He's taking it then retiring in January. Back in '93 when autos became standard, all revolver cops were offerred a free Glock to switch. They actually still gave him one for free. He picked it up last week.

Technically, BB's are .175 but they shoot out of a .177 caliber rifle. They just round up for simplicity sake. So, since I like "technically" right, we both are. There, +1 internet for you.

I'm aware. It's basically the same as the 5.56 and .223 difference. It's close enough. .177 pellet doesn't sound as good as .177 BB though. And, I didn't know how many people know that BBS are actually .175.
