I find this pretty interesting.
Judging from the comments on this video many folks are missing the point here.

Why can't I see him operate the slide at 17:20 and on? Other guy pumps after his shots.
Again, like many commenters on the video your are missing the point. This is not about what is best, this is about how to make this type of shotgun viable. The reason one might want to do this is to have an extremely compact presentation with a 12 gauge shotgun. That gun, with that technique has the muzzle not extended out past your person very far at all, the presentation is fast and can be done in extreme tight quarters. This could be useful for hallways or very small rooms. This provides a method for employing the Shockwave type gun effectively so it's small size can be taken advantage of for use as a truck gun, or for an RV gun, or for use inside an RV. Also, by aiming down the barrel, whether by bead or red dot it is easier and thus requires less skill, less practice and thus be easier in a high stress situation.how about learning how to shoot from the hip with a shotgun
i can do it with a 7 shot 22lr semi old rifle at a running woodchuck that penetrated my 21 foot rule as he/she ran between my legs and tried
to get away .. 5 shots from the hip .. eyes on chucky and arms just follow .. shot 2 legs off and 2 in the back .. 1 miss .. dead chuck ..
my neighbor was laughing his ass off .. he was the one that kicked the chuck out from under his handicap ramp for it to run at me ..
redo that video with a ball being kicked and you have fast moving target .. with all them fancy how to holds .
