There seems to be an acceptance of criminal behavior on the part of some people. They are outraged that someone would actually use deadly force to deter a crime. The sad part is the parents will probably sue the shooter. Even if they don't win the legal process and fees will be the punishment.

One reason why crime is so rampant in the US is because our justice system is so weak.
Bring back hard labor. Bring back public execution. Make prison time hard time. County lockups need to be a harder living environment. Ridicule these criminals against society. Take away all of the freedoms and privileges they are allowed. Make the punishments must tougher. Make these mutts and crime feel the pain of incarceration and of their crimes.
