It's readily available on line or even wally worldI always kind of wanted one of these though I know almost nothing about them. How hard is it to find ammo?
Surplus has largely dried up but there are commercial sources. Prvi Partizan (PPU) and Sellier&Beloit come to mind.I always kind of wanted one of these though I know almost nothing about them. How hard is it to find ammo?
That surplus stuff is unreliable and almost always corrosive. I wouldn't even bother with it.I checked and apparently surplus is still out therentonthe tune of $.25-$.35 a round. Not that you have easy access to cheap surplus.
Did you ever buy rubber grips? I'm not one to use the cliche it's like night and day and actually hate it because most gun gadgets don't really make things that much different but. The grips really do make it feel waaaay better in the hand. Back when I got my tok there wasn't really anything around as far as aftermarket parts but now it seems to have gotten much better. I had to get my grips from a guy in Serbia. Email was the only way to get ahold of him lol! I got a pair of grips like the ones in the middle here. They're great and look sharp. Welcome to Razor Arms, for best grips in the worldI used to think these were a bit fugly.
But after buying and shooting one, aye, no regrets.

Dam safeties ruining everythingMine has the fugly Safety added by importers.
I'm pretty sure I'd have to cut the rubber grips.
I do like them, though.
Mine does too. The m57 has the one on the slide. By the pictures it looks like it's accounted for. When I got mine it didn't have that little half moon. All I did was take either a nickle or quarter (can remember which) and traced a half moon where the safety would slide. Then an exacto knive and cut it. You have to do it while its on the gun for obvious reasons. If you have one of the toks with the safety on the grip you can do something similar. The grips are really worth the money.Mine has the fugly Safety added by importers.
