Has anyone been able to purchase one of Ruger's 9mm carbines in NYS? They offer a NYS compliant base model and I am seriously considering purchasing one through Gallery of Guns or Bud's.

I have the MLOK handguard-equipped NY compliant model. It’s a great carbine, a bit heavier than it looks, but a load of fun to shoot.
Edit- I purchased it before COVID, though. I know they haven’t been able to keep up with demand, as of late.

this says it has a removable mag and adjustable stock.

Fixed stock, 10rd mag, and unthreaded barrel. They have a pretty wide product line for different markets/regulations.

I kept the ruger magwell on mine, but they are significantly more expensive than the Glock ones. I don’t have a pistol license, but if I did, I’d definitely seek to match it up with my sidearm.
I have heard that there can be feed/fit issues with Glock mags, but I can’t corroborate this, so please take this with a grain of salt!
It is a ton of fun, though. Before the ammo crunch of ~checks watch~ right now, it was a cheap date at the range. A little more bang than my .22, but still fun at the indoor range without doubling up on ear pro.

I never had any feeding issues with the Glock magazines. None at all.
Am I the only one who's not a fan of the "handguard so long that you can't tell if there's a barrel" look? Been seeing it a lot on AR's and SCR's, too. Doesn't help that the handguard just ends with a straight vertical front edge. Reminds me of a bad SiFi blaster.
I know that aesthetics are a secondary concern, well below performance, but even two seconds of thought can improve the looks (IMO) without any effect on performance:
Personally, I would go even shorter than that, likely dropping one set of M-Lok, but that's probably just me.
(Note: There's a bit of an optical illusion here. I did not change the end of the barrel; it's the same length. Rather, I shortened the end of the handguard just enough to expose the tip. Obviously, I also slanted the bottom back, too.)

I run the Ruger mags on mine. I bought a Ruger SR9 to go with it as I did not like the Glocks.
I also modified a Sprinfield magazine to work in the PCC.
Just be aware that the ban states PCC comes with a SR9c / SR40c Compact 10 round mag that does not fit the full sized pistol.

June 2020... Anyone able to find Ruger PCC for sale?
I've had my eye on this rifle because it is small and would be easy to handle by my wife and it just looks like a fun gun to take to the range also. Can't find it ANYWHERE though and no gunshot I have contacted has any idea when they will be back in stock.

When you see that setup it's to accommodate assassins tubes. It's more aesthetically pleasing when the tube appears to be seamless with the barrel and handguard. Have you ever seen a handguard that goes well beyond the muzzle? The only thing is once you do this it's an assassin gun only.
