I have one. Got it the first week of January for $399. Most accurate rifle I have ever had. Consistently shoots all holes touching groups at 50 yards with good ammo..like R50, Center x and the like,

Hmnn, maybe I'll get one for cheating on our monthly matches. I'd really like to have a Volquartsen VM-22 but thats a thousand bucks!

You won't be disappointed. And I was shooting mine with a cheap scope taken off an AR. A good scope, good ammo...and it is a great rifle. My best group was with Federal Match, at .145 center to center

What do you suppose the ideal scope for this rifle would be?

Don't know, since I am not shooting competition or willing to spend that kind of money, but I got a Bushnell 6-18x40 Rimfire scope yesterday for it. I will zero it in next week and see what it will do. Don't see how it can do much better than the .145 inch group I got with the cheap scope, though.

Well, I suppose I could sell off a few stocks, I mean what the hell, My kids are doing okay! Bring it on Ruger! lets see that 9mm carbine looks good as a starter.

Heavier than a 10/22, and bigger. Around 7 pounds, I am guessing. I would hunt with it. Not that much small game hunting here, though. Coyotes and Javalina.

no pics, but Federal Match and Ultra Match, R50 and Center X were all about equal. average was .20, with the smallest .145 at 50 yards. 100 yards was .71
