I remember that.People may know hahaha
There was a story a few years back, big thing in California was to have "80% parties" bunch of people got together at someone's place who had a cnc or drill press, paid that person to do all the lowers
State got wind of it and started cracking down
That's why these are great. All you need is a router and a drill. May take a little longer but comes out just the same.

Really? No one caught this?Gray area for sure, but this guy got away with it. For a price.
BATFE Drops 80% Receiver Case in California; Fears Precedent
The BATFE reaches a sweet plea bargain deal rather than have a judge make a ruling on the definition of a firearm legally binding.www.ammoland.com
How do you like that system? Recommend it or something else? That's why these are great. All you need is a router and a drill. May take a little longer but comes out just the same.

Basically your going to be using cerakote to cover the bare aluminum. What does everyone do to protect the bare metal? Nothing if the outside is anodized? I really like some of the non anodized 80% lowers but I'm not sure what to cover it with?
Ehh I bead blasted one and left the others alone. Unless you don’t like the look of bare aluminum, you don’t have to do anything to them. What does everyone do to protect the bare metal? Nothing if the outside is anodized? I really like some of the non anodized 80% lowers but I'm not sure what to cover it with?
Thanks Acer, a fool and his money are soon parted...
