Thats how its done.
He does a lot of stuff right.I'm liking Putin more and more!
They are a super power though. He does a lot of stuff right.
He just needs to understand that Russia is just another country now and isn't a super power and isn't going to be one again anytime soon, then he'd be fine.
If they stepped up their game they could be Germany. They are a super power though.
They have the military and the resources. If they stepped up their manufacturing, they would be a powerhouse.
What criteria are you using to determine "super power" status? If they stepped up their game they could be Germany.
Germany isn't a superpower.
They'd have to double their GDP in order to be California.
California isn't a superpower.
China isn't even a superpower, and Russia is a long long way from being China.
What criteria are you using to determine "super power" status?
Since the end of the cold war, the US has been the sole superpower in the world. There is currently no contender for a second super power. While a great power state is capable of exerting its influence globally, superpowers are states so influential that no significant action can be taken by the global community without first considering the positions of the superpowers on the issue.
I think Russia and Chy-Na would take issue with that.Superpower - Wikipedia

Does anyone give a crap about what Russia's or China's position on the straight of Hormuz stuff is right now ?I think Russia and Chy-Na would take issue with that.
Probably sending them here on flights chartered by the Biden administration.Thats how its done.
Ukraine is literally ours to give to Russia or save from them. We have the ability to choose which way that war goes. Nobody else on earth can do that.
Bingo!I think that window closed. Russia will take Ukraine and there isnt a dam thing the US can do about it anymore.
I think you're dead wrong. We could put an end to the whole thing quite quickly: deploy US troops in Ukraine.there isnt a dam thing the US can do about it anymore.
Ummm...seriously?I think you're dead wrong. We could put an end to the whole thing quite quickly: deploy US troops in Ukraine.
I am not advocating for this action in any way, shape, or form. But if you wanted to see Putin tuck his tail and run, this is how. He cannot win, or even provide a decent challenge, in a conventional war with the US. His only way to put up the slightest fight would be to go nuclear, and he would handily lose there as well.
It would be quicker, cheaper and easier just to put the breaks on the gravy train.I think you're dead wrong. We could put an end to the whole thing quite quickly: deploy US troops in Ukraine.

He's well aware of this, which is why he and his government were so quick to start talking about nukes as soon as the west got involved.
Now, invading and occupying Russia would be a whole different story. We're really no good at occupying even the tiniest of countries. But keeping him clear of Ukraine would be a very decisive thing, if we really wanted to.
Although, to be honest, we're getting a good ROI on the use of our "donated" weapons in degrading Russia's ability to engage in serious land incursions against NATO for the forseeable future. It would be quicker, cheaper and easier just to put the breaks on the gravy train.
except for one thing, the size of the Russian army has tripled , the production rate has gone through the roof . their missile and tank production has tripled , They are now ahead of the west in drone technology and production. The US is producing 20,000 155 shells per month , the rate of fire required by Ukraine is 6000 155 rounds a day. The Russians are producing 200,000 a month and growing, the tank manufactured doubled from 200 T90's a month to 450 a month, Ukraine cant get or make any more tanks except in small batches , the lancet long range loitering drone is wreaking havoc on Ukraine and they are making them by the thousands .Although, to be honest, we're getting a good ROI on the use of our "donated" weapons in degrading Russia's ability to engage in serious land incursions against NATO for the forseeable future.

You should have read past the first part of my post, then. Here's what you missed:Ummm...seriously?
I'm gonna take a pass on the opportunity to put American troops in harm's way, for a country that I don't care about, just to provoke Russia into a nuclear exchange.
I am not advocating for this action in any way, shape, or form.
Jesus, you too? FFS, guys, my post was not a novel. Here's the part that you didn't bother to read:Taliban would disagree with that assessment.
Now, invading and occupying Russia would be a whole different story. We're really no good at occupying even the tiniest of countries.
Sure it would. But my post was not about strategizing what to do with Russia/Ukraine. It was pointing out that holdover's statement that the US couldn't do a damn thing about it was incorrect. We absolutely could stop Russia from taking over Ukraine. Whether or not we want to, or should, is a completely different topic. It would be quicker, cheaper and easier just to put the breaks on the gravy train.
This seems highly unlikely. The Russians are producing 200,000 a month and growing, the tank manufactured doubled from 200 T90's a month to 450 a month,
Yup.Nobody is going to drive the Russians out of Ukraine. Ukraine has admitted they are critically low on air defense missiles, they were forced to move some batterys near the front from Kiev where they were destroyed . That left kiev open to a missile attack and The Russians saw the opportunity to kick em in the nuts .
The US will not send ground troops period. they may send aircraft , but no ground forces . and I doubt they do that .
The US could destroy every Russian armored vehicle and all air defense in range of Ukraine in a week without setting one foot on the ground.I think that window closed. Russia will take Ukraine and there isnt a dam thing the US can do about it anymore.
Haveing the largest nuclear arsenal in world says dont fuck with me . Even the US has to respect it

That's how much of a disparity of force there is.
I think we're a *lot* better than we were in 1990. I don't think they are much better at all.Your still living back in 1990. I guess your not aware they have the ability to jam GPS .Most of our missile technology is pretty old they have the most robust anti air defenses in the world. And the ability to counter strike before the missiles ever landed. It wouldn't go as easy you think .
Yep, I was gonna say he's deporting them on planes supplied by the Brandon crime family. They landed at Kennedy this afternoon.Too bad they are sending them here.
