Ruth Bader Ginsburg hospitalized for chills and fever, Supreme Court says

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was admitted to Johns Hopkins Hospital on Friday night after experiencing chills and a fever, the Supreme Court said Saturday night.

Ginsburg, 86, was initially evaluated at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C., before being transferred to Johns Hopkins for further evaluation and treatment of any possible infection, the Supreme Court said in a press release.

Is it wrong that the first thought I had reading the headline, was to come here?

I don't wish bad on anyone. Still, a trifecta might actually shoot down the unSAFE Act.

That being said, the fact our rights hinge on the whim of nine kings and queens is insane. I'd much prefer SCOTUS didn't even exist in the first place.

There is no fucking way she is acting at full capacity as a Justice. However were the tables turned I would want a barely breathing, brain rotted republican appointee doing the same. So...

Watch: she makes it till next potus and Clarence Thomas has a massive heart attack right after inauguration.

Politics, its really not reasonable for this poor lady ( I am not a fan of her or her beliefs but I have compassion) not to retire and enjoy what she has left of her life, I mean having to go to chemo and then 3 days later be on a bench listening to a case. All this to avoid the placement of another conservative member. Not sure if its her saying I will not retire or if its her co workers or if its the liberal democrat handlers of her.

IMHO, she is a rotted out old Traveling Wave Amplifier Tube. As for her health, if this wasn’t serious, she wouldn’t go to a hospital in DC,- let alone be transferred to a high powered hospital like John’s Hopkins in Baltimore.

No, I would say this is likely pretty serious. Undoubtedly, they will give her a boost with fluids and drugs, and she might even be transported home to DC today. But when the body gets to this point, the end is near, as the organs begin to fail and shut down. I don’t know what she weighs, but when you get down to that 90# threshold and under, you’re about done.

That, along with the fact that she missed a date earlier this month from sickness too. SCOTUS’ calendar has nothing until the NYSPRA v NYC arguments on December 2. There is no way that bitch misses that unless she is literally on her deathbed, so I will be watching for her appearance then, unless she is declared dead beforehand.

Of course, if she dies before next June, when a decision is due by in that case, then her decision (or her clerks, more accurately) will not count. Same thing happened when Scalia died suddenly.

I predict she will be there on 12/2 to question / argue against NYSRPA, but that she will not make it to the first day of Spring.

Time to go Buzzy. Your reign of fucking up the USA is at an end.

Nah, she's "doing well", "in great spirits", and "will be back to full health" in no time at all. At least that's what the media will be tripping over itself to portray.

Again, I know we're biased due to politics, but medically speaking she is in her final days, extremely frail, not well, and certainly nothing approaching any standard of health. That she is still being wheeled into the supreme court regularly is as much parody as anything else at this point.

It'd be good fun. There is a very real risk he loses the next election. Having him replace RBG during the democrat's impeachment shenanigans would result in millions screeching in rage and horror. Pure joy.
