We need to defang the state by withholding OUR money from them when they engage in actions that do not follow the Constitution. Remit any "tax money" to the county instead of the state, have the county hold it in escrow, and then the counties can "collective bargain" with the state before they release any funds. Sounds like a decentralized model of governance to me, you know, sort of like what the founders envisioned before Croly and Wilson and all the other progressive assholes foisted "expert" governance on us...

First of all,I doubt the county will accept money meant for the state.Even if they did,the state will still come after you directly for your taxes,including fines and penalties that build up quick.

I forgot to mention that the escrow account funds would be available for disbursement to a bunch of lawsharks whose sole purpose was to defend individuals against selective and discriminatory enforcement by the state. Spend ALL of the money the state thinks we owe them in fighting them. Let the assholes that think it's ok to give free college and healthcare and drivers licences and housing and food to people who are here ILLEGALLY just so they will vote for their politicians pay for it.

The state doesnt care who you give the money to,if you dont give it to them,you will be on the hook for your taxes,they arent chasing your tax payment thru attorneys,escrows or county coffers.Even if you explain that the money is in some escrow account or whatever you will still be charged fines and penalties til they get it.

There is a reason that the only taxes you pay directly are local taxes.
Personally I think the *only* taxes paid directly by individuals should be local taxes, and the state should have to tax the localities and not the citizens directly for it's funds. Then the feds should have to tax the states.

The way I see it, the employee wage tax is illegal to begin with. It was supposed to be temporary to "support the war effort" during WWII.

The older we get, the more set in our ways we become. The more difficult it is to pull up stakes, and say "Fuck It, - I'm out of here". It is a Hell of a lot easier to move when you don't have things tying you down, - like family, work, owning a non movable business, owning property, and an accumulation of shit known as possessions that you have spent a lifetime getting your hands on.
And that is something that the Princess is counting on.
When I made the decision to get out of NY, I faced all of that. I packed what I could take, and sold a shitload of things that I had expected to use and enjoy in the later years of my life. And because I needed to be out of NY, and on the job in NC in 30 days, I let a lot of it go for pennies on the dollar, or just gave things away to friends, neighbors, - you name it, if you showed up late in the day at the garage sales, I gave it away.
Do I miss some of that stuff? The solid cherry furniture; my lathe, welders, and a mountain of other specialized tools? Almost daily, I find myself having a need for some of it, only to think "I used to own that..."
Do I regret moving from NY to NC. My ONLY regret is having had to move away from my children. And the Princess can kiss my ass.

That's the problem we have in Broome county. The Sheriff is a Republican and opposes the SafeAct but Broome is very close to being Democrat. He might not get reelected if he spoke too much publicly. A lot of Democrats like him.

I do have a love for NYS. Unfortunately panzy is beating it into hate. If it was just a tax issue I'd just deal with it. There's ways to offset taxes with agriculture. Won't be long and he'll be beating on that too. Fortunately, I have no real ties here with no serious possessions to tie me down. In fact I can put sides on my International and move almost all my stuff in one trip. A blessing of never being tied to property here. Thank god I've only been renting since I left my parents nest as a young lad.

So far my chosen state is Kentucky. Geographically similar with the hills and valleys. Though it may not have the lakes NY is known for ..... or the winters. Trying to find a rural location in-between the Lexington and Louisville area. Or anywhere easily commutable. Have to find someplace where the wife will be happy as well. I don't think she can deal with the boonies like myself. I'd be at hame in the Appalachian mountain region or the Daniel Boone forests. I love privacy.

Tioga county here too.. [Candor],, Actually ,we might be better off.. We have it a lot better than a LOT of other counties in NY state some of which are pretty close by.. Tioga is a piece of cake in comparison when it comes to 2A rights .. I got my unrestricted in 2 months, first try,, A lot of better qualified, more astute , better prepared folks than I am want to carry in this state and can't just because of the county they live in.. I HATE thinking this way, I really do, but sometimes its just better to not paint a target on your back.... bob
