$35 insulin sounds great until one by one manufacturers decide its not worth their time.

Then you're looking at the infant formula situation, but with people dying.

We can all agree we want reasonably priced medications people can afford. We all want that.

But as you said, if manufacturers are forced to produce things at a loss or profit margins so slim it's not worth their time.. then suddenly they aren't in the business of producing ____x_____ anymore they will shift their focus to produce something else instead.

Ask communist countries how well price controls work, and that's in an entirely controlled economy it still sucked.
