Rules
Entry posts must be marked "Official Entry"
Challenge must be completed in the same range session as it was started.
Entries must be shot and posted between 1-30 September.
Print on 8.5x11 or 8.5 x14 ( the one with the ladies on it) sheet of paper (should fill full sheet).
Only one target may be entered per category. Once you enter a target set it is your score for that category. Any additional targets posted will be for "kudos" only. You may enter all four categories if you wish.
Final tie breaker is date and time of entry
Information required with each entry (any target submitted without the information below will not be considered):
Picture of target with the following information (examples given):
Description of gun ( Remington 783, 38-06, 12-56x56 Simmons super spotter scope)
Distance (100 yards)
Stance or rest used (sandbag front and rear)
Caliber/Cartridge (.30-06 Springfield)
Load used (750 gr SHPBT, 59.5 grains H9002sc, CCI primer)/ whatever factory load you used.
Date (32 Juvember 2317).
The scenario: You are walking through the local county fair and the Carny at the shooting booth calls your family tree and abilities into question. You decide to shut his fat mouth by winning the big purple dragon for your significant other. Shoot well, you know how those Carnies can be.
10 Yard Pistol Stance: Strong Hand Only.
25 yard Rifle Stance: Off Hand
100 yard Rifle Stance: From the Bench/ Bench Rest
1oo yard Pistol Caliber Carbine (PCC) Stance: From the Bench/Bench Rest
Course of fire: 10 rounds
Scoring: points are on the target, you only have to cut the circle to get the next highest score. Shooting gallery target only one round per ring set. Any ring set with two rounds in it will be counted as the lowest ring hit. Only one target can be entered per category.
Pistol and PCC use the yellow ring target
No rimfire cartridges are allowed in the PCC class.
Rifle use either version of the DSDMMAT’s shooting gallery target.
