Have had many leather hoslters.... Galco, DeSantis, Mitch Rosen, even safariland. After a while the leather folds, softens, gets worn, etc.

well don’t be cheap and buy a new one! I have had a sparks for over a decade and it’s good as new. I will stick to comfortable even if I have to buy a new one every 20 years. For iwb anyway. I have some owb kydex. They are all bacislly the same if you go with a quality one.

No it’s a cz with a laser, light and a toaster. I learned about the toaster in the navy.
I am not at all butt hurt. I care very little what others use or do not use. I also hold very little water for all these instructors across the Country. Too many of these Instructors think they are all that plus a cup of coffee because they served and dress in tactical pants.
And as for Chuck Haggard, I know who he is. And as for a Nickname on a gun forum, I really don't care how you feel about my opinion.
Most of the people who don't use them don't because of Youtube videos that they have watched. They have very little experience of their own. You sound like you have a bit more time invested, IDK, maybe you don't because of videos that you have seen as well.

I have tried Serpas, back when there was a choice between Safariland, Blackhawk and Fobus and then the leather DeSantis, Glaco garbage etc. and the Kydex Craft holsters were not thought up yet.
Once I found better quality, safer design, the Serpas, fobus's and whatever other 1980s crap went wither into the trash, or went into the training classes to use with blue guns, to show people just how awful these holster choices are.
So you are correct in the assumption they are good. They are good for showing people what NOT to use.

No I used them and realized they were for shit. Been there done that, tried them all: Blackhawk DERPA, Fobus, Galco, DeSantis, Alien Gear (total garbage BTW), suffered thru a few "hybrid" holsters until finally finding one of the first kydex makers out there. never looked back.

Some of them yes. Yes they do. Many of them are just guys making videos for the hell of it.
Not all of them are bad. Some are very good. What bothers me, a small amount, is how many people only watch these videos and never learn anything on their own.
