Additional risk entails additional cost ?
Shipping anything gun related to NY in this atmosphere adds a risk you might get sued by the asshats in Albany.
The suit has no merit, but it does cost.
The odds are low, but the cost is high.
If you have a %0.025 chance of getting sued and it costing you $100,000 then that adds $25 to your cost.
Might have some additional paperwork you're doing premptively to defend against such a suit as well.
You're not shipping "to NY" though. You're shipping to an FFL...

All that matters is that NY sues people who do it.
If NY sued people who shipped to Georgia, you'd still have to account for the risk.
And if the product ends up in NY eventually, they might need to even then.
Some of these shipping disclaimers are put together by idiots thinking themselves smart by copying the works of others that themselves were wrong. If you want to do business with the Dealer advertising on gunchoker then contact them FIRST or don't bother at all. ASK them "what's the additional paperwork" for NY? Get them to back it up (we know they can't, unless its their own internal bullshit) they may wave the fee, but in the end when YOU register, Bid, and Win the item YOU have agreed contractually to THEIR terms and conditions, what YOU want should have been decided BEFORE bidding.

Keep in mind that many businesses pay to use their business name through gmail. So, rather than RockyTopArmory@gmail.com it might be Info@RockyTopArmory.com, but still go through gmail. So, it's not so easy to discern just by the email address.
