There was a few times I was going to say something about some posts but not really worth the time lol. I, as well as Holdover, had a witch doctor fix my back. As matter of FACT, he still has the x-rays before and after. And also matter of FACT, my back surgeon recommended against back surgery for my current issue, and to continue using a witch doctor to keep my back stretched every so often. Otherwise it would have been an invasive surgery to remove the disks at L1 L2 and L3, to be replace with man made material that he knew I'd blow out in matter of a couple years and have to have yet another surgery to fix it again.

Symptoms are the way your body tells you something is wrong but unless they are from trauma they are typically the last things to show up. Malfunction leads to a dis-ease process (lack of ease). No symptoms during this. Once enough process has occurred you get a symptom. When you get up in the middle of the night with a toothache I guarantee you didn't just get the cavity. This is why it is dangerous to base your health on a lack symptoms. Medicine falls short here because we are trained only to seek out a doctor when we have a symptom for the most part. You can be either proactive or reactive. Many of my patients want to avoid issues than try to work with them once they have them. I help a lot of things but I don't "treat" any condition. I try to get the body back to normal function which isn't necessarily measured by symptoms. There is a difference.

Absolutely. Unfortunately though based on the standard American diet it is a challenge to say the least to get what you need solely from food.

@holdover he is somewhat correct although the full contex isn't presented. The janitor in the office building where DD worked was named Harvey Lillard. He had bent over at some point, heard a popping noise in his neck and then lost hearing over a short period of time after that. DD figured that since he had hearing and lost it after the popping noise, by correcting the bone that had shifted he may help with the hearing. When he worked on Harvey he actually regained the hearing in the ear. He assumed he had discovered the cure for deafness lol. There is so much more beyond this though when you study the history of the profession. Let me give you one example.

I have a 13 year old girl I have been seeing for about 3 months. She had a history of 4-5 migraines a week for 9 months. She did professional dance and gymnastics which really wrecked her body structurally/mechanically. Structure and function go hand in hand. Well the neurologist had her on some pretty strong meds and they put her on birth control pills thinking it could be hormonal. Still had the migraines. She hadn't been to school in 7 months due to her condition. She got referred to me by another patient. The first picture is her standing relaxed before the first correction. Notice how screwed up she was. Your body will go into the position that is most efficient for itself based on how it is compensating. She was stretching the meninges (covering of the spinal cord) which could pull the brainstem, slightly squeeze the brain, etc. Kind of like a rubber band stretching. The second picture is immediately after her first correction. The migraine she had when she came in that day was gone. The third picture is after her second correction. All pictures are her standing relaxed. I saw her today and her parents were so happy because she hasn't had a migraine since that day, is off her meds and is back in school. Pretty cool to be able to make such a difference for them. Just one of the many cases that changing structure can accomplish.

I didn't say people don't come to me with symptoms. Sadly that's the main reason people come to someone like me. Unfortunately that's how people are trained to treat their health. Many people know someone or have heard of someone who felt fine one minute and dropped dead the next. No signs, no symptoms. Boom. There are people though who do try to be proactive just like you don't say, "I'll brush my teeth when they look dirty." Your interpretation was a little off which is why it may have seen contradictory. You see, I prefer this much better. We discuss things civilly without insulting each other. At the end of the day you do what you think is best and I will do the same.
