I can demonstrate lots of things online. What difference does that make?It isn't demonstrable. Because were on line . That doesn't automatically make it non factual. Your implications of crumpets on your head implied It was false.

I respectfully disagree, sort of. When people say the cancer is gone they mean the tumor is out, no longer present, etc. Cancer is a process that takes years to manifest. During those years the malfunction and dis-ease process happens without symptoms. Sure, getting rid of the tumor can buy you time. Unfortunately though the process that caused the tumor isn't addressed. Many times you hear about some saying "My cancer is gone." Then at some point you hear, "My cancer returned." Truth is the cancer process never left. And the same thing happens with cancer.
Anecdotes != evidence.
And the bigger issue is that there isn't one "cancer." Which is why the claims that Big Pharma are hiding some secret cure somewhere are patently absurd.I respectfully disagree, sort of. First of all nothing is risk free. As a DC my malpractice rates are based on my risk. Our rates are the lowest in the healthcare field. Here is a link with some information to ponder too. http://www.spinecentral.co.uk/wp-co...king-the-Myths-of-Chiropractic-and-Stroke.pdf. I for one don't do or want done to me the type of adjustment most in my profession do but not so much for fear of stroke.Chiropractic neck adjustments linked to stroke - Harvard Health
Another success story of sticking it to big pharma!
But this is more of a jest, as I'm not claiming it's dangerous. I tend to believe it is, but I'm up in the air on that. What I do know though is that it is not based in evidence.
Never said there is one cancer but there is one physiological process that leads to bad cells replicating and forming tumors. As far as the remission thing that just demonstrates the bodies attempt and ability to heal from things. Remission may not be full cure though. Yes, some refer to the healing ability as a force, innate, etc.. BTW, a healthy person doesn't just drop dead. It comes down to what your definition of a "healthy" person is. If they were truly healthy, they wouldn't be dead. Obviously I'm not talking about someone who is elderly and just ran out of time. I'm assuming you meant the same. And the bigger issue is that there isn't one "cancer." Which is why the claims that Big Pharma are hiding some secret cure somewhere are patently absurd.
Have people had cancer, and with no outside help, had it gone into remission? Yes.
Faith healers often use this as "evidence of god."
They leave out the cases where a person is healthy and drops dead as evidence of "not god" for some reason.
Now that, as I alluded to in the post, would be a proper response. I don't know much about the stroke thing, so I'm not going there.First of all nothing is risk free. I don't even know WTF you are taking about here, let along what you think I think about it.Darth, :I can demonstrate lots of things online. What difference does that make?[/QUOTE]
Holdover :You implied it wasn't factual . ie: I lied
Darth :Neither I, nor anyone else, has any idea if you are lying about it, because it's not demonstrable.
Maybe you should ask yourself the same question. Better yet , explain WTF your talking about
Not vague at all. We don't use drugs or do surgery. Less risk. Now that, as I alluded to in the post, would be a proper response. I don't know much about the stroke thing, so I'm not going there.
"Lowest risk in the healthcare field?" Again, if you make everything so vague that nothing can be held against you, I'm not surprised.
Of course healthy people drop dead. That's why it's noteworthy.Never said there is one cancer but there is one physiological process that leads to bad cells replicating and forming tumors. Re-worded: We fail to give people proven lifesaving medicine. More risk. Not vague at all. We don't use drugs or do surgery. Less risk.
It's only noteworthy to people who have their own interpretation of what health is. Like I mentioned, when someone says, "I don't get it. I just saw Bill at the gym. He was so healthy." If you have a weak vessel, for what ever reason (again, not referring to trauma), that isn't normal and healthy. Again, I go back to what your definition of health is. A healthy properly functioning vessel doesn't just spontaneously combust. There has to be an underlying health issue to weaken it.Of course healthy people drop dead. That's why it's noteworthy.
This AGAIN is stepping back from taking any real stance. If you do that all the time, no shit you won't be found accountable for anything.
You can be walking down the street and have an aneurysm on the spot. And if we count external forces then it's nearly commonplace.
You can literally write anything off as that. Again, vague. If you have a weak vessel, for what ever reason (again, not referring to trauma), that isn't normal and healthy. So then I guess I should be paying more for malpractice than the medical profession. Shhh, don't tell anyone. Dude, I am really just calmly answering the best way I feel I can. There really is no need to start to get snarky again and get personal. Just make your point without the jabs and digs.Re-worded: We fail to give people proven lifesaving medicine. More risk.
The only difference is one has centuries of evidence, and one can't stand up to basic criticism.
Um... yup.You can literally write anything off as that. Again, vague.
"My 13 year old patient got better."
"Well, unfortunately, in a blind study, the majority did not given the same treatment."
"Well then they just weren't healthy to begin with."
Not exactly, I'm surprised you even require insurance. So then I guess I should be paying more for malpractice than the medical profession. Shhh, don't tell anyone.
The calmer I am in my response the angrier you seem to get. I get it. You don't approve of me, what I do and the things I see. Can we move past this? Not exactly, I'm surprised you even require insurance.
Kid dies from the flu on Dr's orders? "Well, we don't treat anything, we just guide."
Patient strokes out? "Well, there are risks for everything."
Kid dies of cancer opting for "the natural cure?" "Well, they would have just treated the symptoms..."
13 year old feels better after taking her to a person that she has been told will make her feel better? "THAT WAS ALL ME!"
I see psychology isn't a strong suit as well. The calmer I am in my response the angrier you seem to get. I get it. You don't approve of me, what I do and the things I see. Can we move past this?
I am referring to me answering in a polite, calm fashion and you throwing cute insults under the radar such as, "I see psychology isn't a strong suit as well." Man, I'm on here having a discussion with you while at the same time on that stupid care2 petition answering the people on there. You are both tiring me out lol. Again, can we move past this or not?I see psychology isn't a strong suit as well.
I'm having a great Friday night. Met some great people today, got some good Siege rounds in today, and my Tax Refund is coming closer. Not mad in the slightest.
Not really, you wanted to make this no holds barred. I don't personally care. I'd have been just as happy if we'd had kept to the topic, but that ship has sailed.I am referring to me answering in a polite, calm fashion and you throwing cute insults under the radar such as, "I see psychology isn't a strong suit as well." I am trying to bury the hatchet so to speak. Don't remember wanting to make this no holds barred. I said earlier on here let's get back to the thread at hand. Then you kept responding even to posts I was talking to others about. If I don't respond you accuse me of running away, being vague, etc.. If I do respond as I have been doing calmly and just sharing my point of view that also doesn't seem to be good enough for you. I don't know what else I can say. I am willing to move past this but you leave me no other choice than to think you aren't. I will though bow out because it is way past my bedtime. Have a good night. Not really, you wanted to make this no holds barred. I don't personally care. I'd have been just as happy if we'd had kept to the topic, but that ship has sailed.
(I really wish that previous post would not have been deleted though, I think even you'd have gotten a laugh.)
I really wish quotes were used properly. It's hard to follow who's saying what.
