"..to serve a protect...." No one pays any attention to the (....) and what they could mean. Yet the statement is on the many PD's cars giving the public a false sense of security. Hell, most police officers don't know the level of deception being perpetrated by the statement.

I've been wondering the same thing but kept my mouth shut. It has me questioning a lot. If they made entry initially, seen him before he got to a classroom, and received fire from him, did they go in yelling at him and not bother to shoot? AFAIC they should have been putting so many rounds at him he wouldn't have been even thinking straight. What did they say, 3 cops went in? Should have been fuckin mag dumps, not yelling to drop his weapon.

Maybe I'm missing something. This is a clusterfuck.

So not a single cop thought hey, let's go look through the window and see what is going on? Maybe we can shoot him from there. From video I have seen the windows were very high up and would have needed a ladder to reach. Again, not an easy entry for a single gunman lugging a lot of gear already.

You can shoot through a window easier than you can see through one.

I would not advise just peeking in a window in a siege operation, you're likely to get your head shot off.

If you do, you need to treat it like an open door way and pie the corner, 'cause glass only stops wind and rain.

One more of the reasons law enforcement doesn’t wait at these kind of shootings. The sooner they hunt down and engage the shooter the sooner ems can move in and begin treating patients hopefully leading to less casualties. Ems is being trained to go into the warm zone with le in shooting events to begin triage and patient care. But can’t do that if the pussie pd is out front trying to decide who’s skinny jeans go best with their tac gear.
