Shooting gloves

It looks like all of us in New York will be seeing a long stretch of cold weather (Trump must have fixed global warming already) and I am looking for insights on shooting gloves. So far my trial and error search for a good cold weather compromise between warmth and dexterity (whatever generic Lowes or Home Depot stocked Mechanix clone I have in the shop) leans toward the error.
Has anyone found a good go to choice for cold weather range use?
Does anyone have different choices for long gun vs handgun?
Does anyone have a favorite for casual wear that would not have to be ditched before drawing a CCW?
Thanks to all in advance. Searches on other forums are littered with southern boys whining about shooting gloves for 40 and 50 degree range days.

They are not cold weather gloves but I like the Magpul Breech gloves I have. Very dexterous and full leather palm.
It was in the 30s when I started my last all day range trip and while not insulated they kept the chill off my hands. I can do just about anything with them on like reloading mags, making optics adjustments, and hanging targets. After a few mags my guns act as handwarmers anyway.

Take a look at baseball, golf or flight (pilot gloves). Intended for mild cold weather protection and the ability to maintain dexterity. I have a set of old flight gloves I use as liners under heavy gloves when I hike. I pull off the heavy glove then I can fire my revolver with the lighter layer glove.

I found no good solution for extreme cold weather. I either wear warm winter gloves and pull them off while shooting or wear a pair of mechanix the whole time and my hands get cold. While cod fishing I wear a pair of neoprene gloves which work great for manipulating a fishing reel but they don't work well for triggers.

Yeah, @Deplorable Me's suggestion of flight gloves is prolly the best option of providing a modicum of warmth while still providing some dexterity.

Wear gloves or mitts and take one off when your finger needs to be on the trigger.

pretty much. They also have palm, knuckle and back of the hand protection built in, which is valuable in the running and gunning games. Most paintball guns use micro switches for activation of the firing sequence. With paintball specific gloves I could feel the micro switch activate from the lever that the trigger depresses.

The AR rifle trigger guard is meant to be released and lowered in cold weather climates so that you can shoot with heavy gloves on.

Thought I'd provide a little update here-
This past Wednesday, which was the 31st of January, I spent about 5 hours on the range. It was outdoors in 15-19° weather. I wore only these:

They are fairly thin leather gloves with no insulation. My hands were cold but not to the point of numbness. In terms of dexterity I was able to perform all functions to include loading mags and stapling targets up.

I need to figure this out too. Solved my cold feet issue with some 2400g tjinsulate boots. Hands need a solution.

I have a lot of trouble keeping my hands warm. A few years ago I spent the money and purchased a pair of the insulated version of these. My hands still get cold shooting clays when it gets to 10 or 15 degrees but they still function.
