Don't paint AIWB with such a broad brush. Dude had a conviction for cocaine so he doesn't seem to be the sharpest tool in the shed. Guarantee you I will NEVER do such a thing in all the years I plan on carrying AIWB.How do you shoot yourself there by "sitting" on a gun in the car seat? Sounds impossible... Don't put "felon" and "suffered enough" in the same sentence. These felons make US suffer just by existing. Our tax obligation for prisons in USA is shockingly high compared to the other 240 countries on this planet. My reference was he probably did something stupid based on his judgement issues. The key words in your post are "for me." Have a proper holster, a properly functioning gun and a brain and there are no worries. BTW, when I AIWB it isn't pointing at my nuts. I guess if you ever tried AIWB you would understand. Hard to base an opinion on AIWB when you don't. Hahaha.

I'd agree with you, If we didn't have so many ridiculous felonies.
When you can become a felon for having a 15 round magazine in the trunk instead of a 10, I can't agree with any "screw them all" approach.
Until the word felony again means that you caused some serious harm to someone, it is meaningless.
I'm not medically trained, except for DHS Critical Lifesaver, lol, but I can tell you that you won't need to hit the little buggers with a slug to do damage. The concussion alone from the discharge will certainly do damage! And I'm cringing as I write this just thinking about it, lol.
I never said I hadn't tried it, of course I have... A bad assumption in your post. And I didn't like it for reasons already previously stated and additionally I could never get comfortable with it there (front). I prefer 4:00-5:00 strong side IWB, I'm comfortable with it there, trained and reflexive for that location, can protect it there and more... Is my opinion, and I'm sticking with it (for me). BTW, not sure what kind of shape you're in but you need to not have a belly to comfortably appendix carry. Great motivation for me. I really hope the thought of AIWB doesn't actually make you throw up though.
