Damn I want one!
.35rem would be nice
if they would make ammo more then once a year or 2 ..
If you wait until November to buy it, you're out of luck.Never had a problem finding factory ammo for the 35 .. even after the Sandy hook ammo crunch the ammo was still on shelfs..
Yep, and with a matte blued finish. Now lets see a side gate on the pistol caliber rifles! Or .22!
I recently got a Henry 22 with the Big Loop . Haven't shit it much but I likes it.
Whats the issue with a hardened brass receiver? Henry has been making brass receiver rifles for well over 100 yrs.I sure do like those Henry's, tube or side load, but I just don't trust a brass receiver on anything over a .22 LR.

Not exactly. When Anthony Imperato purchased the rights to the Henry rifle he specifically set out to make them exactly as they were made by Benjamin Tyler Henry himself. There were innovations made to the current production rifles but Mr. Imperato stayed true to the original tried and true design of the first Henry rifles. Its dumb that they kept the tube loader on these models. That is the sign of a comapny terrified of change. Get that stupid tube loader outta there!
I kind of like the idea of both ways to load. Its dumb that they kept the tube loader on these models. That is the sign of a comapny terrified of change. Get that stupid tube loader outta there!
I don't like the possibility of sending the tube follower downrange because the cap worked itself loose. And yes, that has happened to me and I have seen it happen to others.I kind of like the idea of both ways to load.
From a manufacturing perspective, they only need to keep one magazine in inventory for both rifle variants.
All very rare occurrences and or negligence on the part of the operator.I don't like the possibility of sending the tube follower downrange because the cap worked itself loose. And yes, that has happened to me and I have seen it happen to others.
Also not a big fan of sticking my hand in front of the muzzle to load and also not thrilled with the possibility of a tube detonation because I sent a round down too fast.

6 in one and a 1/2 dozen of the other. The potential for the tube magazine detonation exists with the gate load rifles as well , and if your hand is in “front” of the muzzle when you’re loading a tube feed magazine, you’re doing it all wrong.Or dare I say it .. poor design
