Received it from Fed Ex today. Haven't had a chance to shoot it but function check checks out and appears ok.
So, who here thinks I should load up it up with live ammo and start dropping it to see if the upgrade did the trick?

Do what SIG does in it's test, use a primed but uncharged case with no bullet and give it a couple tosses. Or even better, just use a snap cap and drop it a few times. If its decocked when you pick it up you would have been fucked. Possibly.
Make sure you wear a frying pan, safety first.

So I took @Podmonkey 's advice and found some of my 9mm snap caps. Put one in the chamber and spent the past 10 minutes dropping my poor pistol onto my floor from varying heights (thank God it's carpeted). So far it hasn't "fired" so I'm hoping that the retrofit did the job. I still don't plan on purposely dropping a loaded pistol however.
Are you dropping it straight down onto the rear of the slide?
Have a few more beers and put a live one in it.
Bare concrete or GTFO.

I'm trying to (I believe that's the sweet spot to make it go off if I remember correctly). Though when I drop it it does tumble in other directions sometimes.

Darth, you're looking at the guy who still is cringing about the scratches I got on my stainless S&W 686 from being careless with it in the range bag. Do you honestly think I would drop by P320 on the basement floor...lol?! Don't give a rat's ass if the plastic frame is cheap and replaceable. It ain't happening!

Get a rubber hammer and wack it against the hammer. Make sure you wack the gun on the hammer to get inertia for the trigger and not the other way around and wack the gun with the hammer.
