SIG Sauer P320 - 1,000 rounds Fired in 13 Minutes!

Most impressive; if you don't want to watch the whole thing, here's a nice breakdown from Sig Sauer P320 1,000 Round Torture Test -

When the test finished, the trigger itself reached 205 degrees, the slide reached 159 degrees, and the barrel reached 310 degrees. That is an insane amount of wear put on a single pistol – but even so, it completed the test without any failures.

Upon disassembly of the Sig Sauer P320, it held together quite well. It was obviously extremely dirty, but the parts were in great working shape.

Interesting to see spots of corrosion on the outer layer of the barrel already after so many rounds in so little time. I'm guessing it cooked off any kind of heat treatment it had? Wonder if that would be covered under warranty.

Compact model (.19 minute mark )....
1,000 round torture test in about 13 minutes ... This shoots to hell why we need 10 round mags .... (for the kids ) theory .
An average shooter could easily get off say 500 rounds in the time frame of say 10 minutes with 10 round mags .. No one is safer because of the safe act ... IF one is determined ....

Neat vid. Reminds me of the iraqveteran888 vid, he cranks through many mags at full auto in an AR until the barrel gets hot.
