So he was arrested for trying to do a business deal? So what if Columbia was engaged in a civil war? Hell, the US, Russia, China and I sure bet Germany and many other nations in Europe and elsewhere sell arms to shady countries and even shadier characters. I mean, the US armed the Taliban and Mujahadeen in the '80s and various other terrorist groups even to this day (who aren't exactly friendly to us). How'd all that work out? I don't see anyone from the Department of Defense or Department of State going to jail for that?

Remember the Sig is just fine, the p365 doesnt need fixing....
It's the operator who is the problem, and they should just be happy Sig deemed them worthy to own their guns
Yeah, I double checked and saw no new information regarding any fixes for the P365.
The main issues to need be solved are problems with broken extractors, broken strikers and broken trigger parts. So in otherwords all the things that absolutely cannot go wrong with your carry gun. The first two issues indicate a timing issue, I'd guess that the action is unlocking too soon while under too much pressure. The trigger issues seem separate.
I strongly suspect these problems are at least partially due to SIG trying to fit too much shit in too small a gun. It didn't have to be smaller than the competing slim line subcompacts, it would have been fine at a Shield size with its capacity advantage.
Regardless of the why I am not willing to touch the P365 with someone elses 100 yard pole until they can thoroughly unfuck this gun. But if they can I still would like to buy one. I really hope they can. I really wish SIG's marketing eyes would stop being bigger than their engineering stomach.
And it would probably help a whole bunch if SIGs upper management refrained from making shady deals.
To be honest I predict the messy demise of this company, they are beset on all sides by issues with almost all their major product lines and the Army contract for the M17 is going to kill them, the have no profit margin on that contract at all and the are already needing to make repairs on them. I think SIG is pretty well fucked at this point. And I used to be such a huge SIG fan too, shame.

Sorry, not willing to trust my life on the basis of one good report. His particular gun may be unaffected by the issues or they may simply be waiting in the wings. I will wait for a positive consensus.
We get it you are a fangirl and nothing sig does will be wrong or bad.
But sorry that's a sample size of one. Just like MAC getting two in a row is a sample size of just 2 but again other people also had all the same issues,
So out of 2 people, MAC and Ayoob (and here is where it gets interesting) one of which, ie MAC, for a fact bought both guns through his FFL shop "copper customs", did Ayoob get his directly from Sig.
We will come back to that. But Ayoob had 1 gun that worked. MAC got 2 guns that didn't work, small sample size but that means 66.666666666% of the sample failed, and failed miserably.
Now back to the prior point.
If MAC ordered his through the dealer as just a random order through his supplier then Sig had no control over what gun he was going to get, and twice he got broken shit....
But what if Ayoob contacted Sig saying hey I want to review a P365 (or inversely Sig was like hey big name in pews can we send you a 365 to review) and in either case Sig isnt going to grab just a rando off the line, they are going to make sure that gun is 100% and then go over it again to make sure that there will not ever be any issue
I am a fan, I have 2 Sigs that have ran perfectly with all kinds of ammo. I think any problems the 365 might have had are worked out. Any company is not going to wait to long to fix the problem, or it will spell out doomsday when continued negative reviews continue to appear. The P365 is hard to find!
Yea but the company would have to acknowledge that the issues exist.
Sig repeatedly denies issues and blames the user instead if fixing their products. Its the same shit that we went back and forth in with the P320 months back
