My range was a fallen tree @50yd for my practice base. Neighbor build a bench and cleared some blockages. Now looking good at 100yds. Have to work on the target line some more but a crude one is in place right now.

I like how trench has a built in spot to put your rules on when not in use.
Yeah he came up with that. Possible going to extend table for prone shooting. A little more beefing up of seat is needed.
It's amazing what you think up once your actually using it.

I've always been told i just need to de-beef what's going on the seat, but regardless i'm jealous that you actually have 100 yards of just woods at your disposal.

I would do it. I know it's a lot of work but once you start stretching the legs of your rifles you won't ever want to shoot at 100yds ever again.

But I'm doing alright for a shooting place now, its so cheap its practically free and they have everything I'd ever need. Minimal restrictions too.

the benches at my gun range are similar but not built for short guys .. i have to stand and shoot off the bench , or kneel on the seat and that gets the knee n leg sore and just not comphy .. i'd love to have seat made adjustable .. pull 2 pins and raise or lower .. would be good if you ever have short guest shooting with you ..
