Cool beans. I'm going under my back deck and out of the sun. Faces south and gets hot out there.
I have the Benjamin Marauder in .25 with a side wheel Umarex and bipod...bastard is heavy, takes 200 pumps with the hand-pump, so by the time it's up to pressure I'm out of gas. I do have one of the fill from a tank adaptors, but the highest pressure I have is only ~1500 psi and it wants 2K for optimal operation. .25 Cal Pellets are expensive and have to be special ordered....ballistically about the same as .25acpI got an Umarex Origin PCP air rifle a few months ago and it is great. I'm going to set up range in my woods behind my house by hanging old pots and pans from tree branches.

Origin takes 125 pumps to fill gun and then it is good for 40 shots. Comes with 2 ten pellet magazines.I have the Benjamin Marauder in .25 with a side wheel Umarex and bipod...bastard is heavy, takes 200 pumps with the hand-pump, so by the time it's up to pressure I'm out of gas. I really only use my pcps for hunting now, hate pumping and I just don't feel like dropping $700 on a tank. Its nice just grabbing the 97k and a tin of pellets.I have no experience with PCP rifles, although the Marauder did catch my eye...especially because they could be ordered up with custom stuff, way cool. There's just too much expense with tanks and compressors and such. The Beeman is one easy pump and done. Noooo air pumps!
From what I’ve read up on this, it’s upto the discretion of a dive shop to fill a tank for a person with or without a dive license…also the older tanks do need to be hydro tested every five years.I was at a an outdoor flea market last weekend and saw a aluminum scuba tank for sale. I didn't check the asking price. I guess these can be used to fill a pcp rifle, but I wouldn't have any idea where you would get it filled. Besides, I think your supposed to be a certified diver to get you tanks filled. Dunno.
I did have difficulty finding .25 caliber pellets, and they were pricey (compared to others) ended up getting them off amazon....when you compare the ballistics (published) it amounts to a Rifle shooting .25acp but don't laugh, that "Big Game" .357 (Nosler 148gr. lead Pellet @ 850fps) amounts to a .38 Special! Yea, that's right, you killed a Hog at 50 yards with a .38 special.I have a Beeman Chief 2 in .177. I have it tuned to run 30 shots on a full. Using a hand pump as it’s only a 2,000psi reservoir. Really eyeballing a .25 however.

$230 w/free shipping. Service parts are all over the place. It's about 14" x 16". Tiny. These are all the rage now, in the PCP world. No Scuba or SCBA/Scott bottles. (Although it will fill one in under half hour.). Fill the rife/pistol directly from this tiny compressor. I got one for last Father's Day, but havent fired it up yet. Go on any air gun forum, and do a search for Yong Heng. All you need to know.
