In my County, based on the sample ballots, there was no point. They were all single line.
What's the point of voting if there is only one item to vote for? to write your own name in?

A bit off topic but as we're talking about primaries, yesterday my Town had a primary for the other Town Justice position (the other judge in Town is retiring at the end of his term this year). We're a population of about 3,500 people, most of them being registered Republicans (this was the Republican Primary). We had about 250 people come out and vote in the primary. 250 out of a population of 3,500 (with probably about 2,000 of them being registered Republicans). I know voter turnout is low especially in the primaries but I still find this quite sad that civic engagement is so low.

Yes that’s what I was assuming but I live in a city of 16,000-17,000 and there was 4 voting districts in my town. That means 40 out of 400-500 in my district voted. I wasn’t at 7pm and polls closed soon after. The ladies there seemed surprised I showed up. That’s sad.

Those are just a few. I have a lot to criticize about Biden, outside of the border wall being halted his success on immigration has been abysmal at best. Wasn't a fan of the massive stimulus Biden did, but Trump did a shit ton there too so it's more or less a wash. Not a fan of extending the eviction moratoriums, but then again Trump started them, there never should have even been a damn moratorium and ban on landlords having use of their own damn property. Etc. There are actually some things I liked better about Trump (ie. border performance with exception of the wall, comparative 2A stance, etc.), but weighing all the + and - out on a scale I'd still prefer Biden.

The cost of building a wall once will be like a blue light special price when you compare it to supporting millions, and their kids, for generations. Wall + Trump = Lower illegal invasion. Joe + Hoe = Unbridled influx en mass. Wake up.

Boy, Buffalo doesn't pay any attention to what's going on in Rochester, huh? This is EXACTLY what Rochester has been dealing with for the past several years. Fortunately, nut job Lovely Warren just lost the Democratic primary and will be out as mayor soon. The nepotism ran rampant with her. It was disgusting (that doesn't even include the current events with her)

Rochester created this no pursuit policy for ATVs, and on top of that, there was actually talk about creating an off-road park within the city for them! (note: they're not riding on the streets for lack of a place to ride, they do it because it's illegal, yet the pols don't understand this concept)

From their standpoint it makes sense. If they don’t accept her as the winner they are basically saying the primary process is illegitimate. What they really need to do is reflect on what their party represents and get behind people who have a better chance of winning. They miscalculated with Brown.

My uncle said, Brown wanted to retire so he didn't run in the primary and handed it off to this POS because if he did he would have beat her hands down.

I dont know, but if he doesn't launch a legitimate write in campaign Im going to have to agree with him.

Brown is very strong in Buffalo he has all the votes he needs to win if he wants to pursue it . He would still crush her in a write in campaign if he pursues it. If he goes all half assed , he just handed it to a fucking socialist .I have to believe he did it on purpose.

Agree but my point is he made no effort during “campaign.” He would have destroyed her during a debate. A write-in victory is plausible but will take much more effort. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure and all that.

Exactly! But my point is, Did he ever want to win to begin with? He served 4 terms, Hes getting older, and nobody is running against him. Hes a shoe in to win. IF he wanted to. Im saying he didn't want to because he sure didn't act like he wanted to .So he passes the torch to the new left and retires in peace. Now he has to run a half hearted write in campaign and move to Florida .


It should be easy to tell, first he will delay it as long as he can, then you wont see a major campaign effort across the internet , facebook, instagram social media, TV instructing everyone in how to do it . If I dont see a great effort I have to think it was done on purpose.
