I see the argument you are making and I want to revert to which law enforcement agency is most closely following the constitution for whom I feel is right or wrong.

Yes they crossed a federal border and multiple state, same as if someone was robbing banks in multiple states. The feds should help the states coordinate efforts to find criminals . They shouldn't be asserting authority in the states.

if the state says no, the feds should stay out . Whether the state is protecting illegals or wants to round them up themselves but I think most states will say "shit the feds want to flip the bill we will let them".

I think the beauty of the way the states operate is that one state can go rogue an it won't hurt the nation as a whole. If the feds are in charge if everything if it goes bad we are all fucked .

We have states governments that should be able to operate without feds and county without state. It should be this way if one system fails others can still work.

The Feds are total pussies, they rely on fear rather than force. They'll happily bully an individual or small group but they don't have the balls to take on an entire state, and even if they did that would lead to a true civil war.

Look at gun control if state A is strict and state B is not at least we have a choice to move .
If the Feds pass strict laws we have no choice no that's why I believe the 10th exists. States should run themselves and the feds is the glue that holds them together.

Straw man argument. Gun control is unconstitutional and immoral, protecting our borders from illegal immigration is not.
I will side with whatever agency is enforcing constitutional law, the Missouri agencies in this case.

And you got my answer: yes, local LE impeding federal enforcement of immigration policy would bother me. For the same reasons I support local LE impeding federal agencies from enforcing gun control policies.

Except for areas around St. Louis and other big cities, I'd advise Fed.Gov not to fuck around in "Missurah".

Case in point..."Bloody Bill" Anderson, Quantrill and other Missouri "border ruffians". That spirit ain't dead.

I've been in some of the nether regions of Missouri and people there are not to be fucked with - the old ways still exist.
