Me personally, I've never cared much about a politician that will pour honey in my ears. I want them to give it to me straight even if they come off abrasive. In fact that's one of the things I loved about Trump was that he wasn't trying to speak perfectly all the time. But to each his own.

I agree with you 100%. They need to do the leg work to catch the criminals not just watch us all. Anyway watching me will do no good and waiste time anyway. They need to follow the constitution and they are not. Look at yahoo for instance dumping all thier emails with a key word to the government. They can look at your search history on your computer or phone without a warrant. Now they can search pistol permit holders without any probable cause. Come on. This shit is getting disgusting.

Congress wrote Patriot Act. It wasn't an EO or anything. But that having been said, I honestly don't have a problem with it. There are some really bad terror cells in USA, like the shit that went down on 9-11, at that airport in LA against El Al airlines, Boston Marathon, that wholesale execution of that Christmas party in California, the execution of an entire bar in Orlando, etc. Patriot Act was designed to nab those psychos before they do the deed. I like privacy as much as the next guy; but those diaperheads brought their drama to our soil. We had to do something IMO. The opposite of Dubya is Ovomit; who I am convinced did absolutely dick to stand up to "peaceful islam" when he ran the show. Iran was his crowning achievement in the betrayal of Americans. Dubya would never do shit like that.

So your thinking would lead to total crack down on its citizen. We could end up with cerfews, no guns, and warrantless searches. Are we far from that sure maybe, but the whole the government can do anything to keep its people safe I don't buy. There are not enough government workers or cops to protect everyone. That's why I have a gun.

Trump has shown his high intelligence ever since he entered the scene (IMHO). Perfect grammar, persuasive speech, appealing presentation, savoir-faire, etc is the mark of one who tries TOO hard, or the mark of a PHONEY. Trump is/was neither, always HIMSELF, which is exactly what appeals to the populace. The fact that the Beltway and the paid-for media never liked him is his STRONGEST attraction. They (the molded politicians) just cannot get it - a REAL, GENUINE contender has a HUGE chance of winning the WH. Trump carried it off perfectly.
