A friend of mine is a missionary there and it’s very bad. He fears for his life on a daily basis at this point. They are trying to evacuate but it’s not even safe to get out or he can’t get out.
He is a very nice man and married a women form there. They have 3-4 kids now.

Crazy shit. Had not heard of this. It's spreading to other cities if you google "south africa". The video of the 8 or so guys slowly walking toward the crowd with guns is nuts (also nuts they can't hit anyone which makes me think they are deliberately avoiding hitting them).

SA has been hyper violent for a very long time. Gotta have fortified windows even in nice areas, armed security. They have armed civilians who legally chase down car jackings (go to youtube and look up "anton south africa").

I actually love seeing this. Love it, no sarcasm.

Over the past year or so, I have seen American citizens cower to the wants and the violence of the scum here in the US.

I have watched men and women cower, hide and give up all they have to these people.

This is refreshing to see people protecting and fighting for what is theirs.

As I watch America handle similar to this, I am sad. Country filled with cowards and weak ass people.

My father in law spent 4 years living in Cape Town in the 80s as plant manager for their nuclear power facility. Oh the stories he would tell from back then even. It was like our wild west only worse. Theres always been a lot of internal tension there.
