Wouldn't put it that way. Whites were a minority in that country whereas blacks are a minority here. From that perspective you are 100% correct. However the use of language to demonize white people has some parallels to south africa. As I've mentioned before I started noticing the phrase "whiteness" being used and it is always considered a problem to be overcome. I am waiting for the phrase "solution to the whiteness problem".
White south african farmers are being murdered because they are a minority and in many cases a remote minority that is easy to prey on. That situation does not exist here. If it became open season on white people here like it is in south africa then it will get bloody very quickly.

I don't care, don't agree, don't pay attention to ANY of the contemporary racial identity politics... Let it take it course. I know what's going to happen and I'm ok with it. Fear is a manifestation of the mind, and I'm not worried one little bit. The term "old white guy" is common--and used by whites. It is a statement of guilt and denigration based on race. I agree, some are being taught to hate themselves. I think it's been slowly happening for around 20 years with a robust acceleration in the past five or so years. It does start in schools. Our youngest is still in public school here, but it's changing at a ferocious pace. We receive emails from the school district superintendent and although the district is almost entirely white I have noted that lately he is patently incapable of emailing on any topic whatsoever without paying lip service to equality or diversity. We are not sure whether our youngest, still in public school, will be taken out for 2022 or 2023, but there's not much left. It is sacrosanct that this recent fetish (I use the word to describe something more incessant than an obsession) is doing nothing but dividing the country and making kids laser focused on race, in clearly injurious ways.
