colt makes the fastest speed loaders, they are push button, the speed loader for my S&W 44mag is a 'twist lock' type, not as fast as I would like, but not terrible

Nothing they produce can make a revolver reloading fast. But I use twist type and strips for concealment

I dont like the bulkyness of the speed loaders, I use speed stripes.

If I was going to carry one, I'd go with the HKS twist type.
For competition, I like the Safariland push type speedloaders.

I currently am using 5 star loaders. They are very nice.
HKS and moon clips.
I had not encountered these before, watched a video, they look pretty slick.
I've shot a number of different revolvers in competition and the fastest way for me to reload was with moon clips - using the off hand to do the reload.
This is with S&W revolvers and me being right handed --- use the left thumb to push the cylinder release forward while pushing the cylinder out with right trigger finger............ elevate muzzle and left palm slap on the ejector rod to eject cases............ left hand continues downward motion to pick next moon clip from left side of belt........ muzzle down & drop moon clip into cylinder............ slap cylinder closed with left palm......... resume grip with left hand......... AND RIGHT HAND NEVER CHANGES ITS GRIP ON THE GUN.
I found this to be much faster than releasing the grip on the gun with the right hand, shifting control of the gun to the left hand, reloading with the right hand, then reacquiring the grip on the gun with both hands. Which is what I have to do with both Safariland and HKS loaders. Especially with HKS as I always had trouble with the cylinder rotating as I twisted the knob if I didn't immobilize the cylinder in some way.
It's just what worked best for me. And these Speed Beez loaders look like they could be used in the same manner, with a small added step of using the right hand thumb to release the rounds into the cylinder as shown in the video I watched.
Jerry Miculek has done it both ways over the years but I ain't no Jerry Miculek.
With some practice reloading a revolver with a speed loader can be fairly swift, nearly as fast as a magazine change on an automatic if you are good. Do a video search on it, you might be surprised.
