I got the impression he was asking about all XD's. Since he wrote "XD's" with an apostrophe and lowercase "s".
I did put a prp spring and sear kit in my XDS trigger a little while after I got it. I did keep the striker spring stock because I had light primer strikes with the prp spring when shooting my reloads with CCI primers. Now I love it and it has smoothed up a lot since. It's my only striker fired pistol, I don't feel outgunned with it. Below is a picture I posted the other day with the 8 round mag I just got and the TLR4 mounted.

Agreed. I also like my 9mm XDS 9mm 3.3" barrel pistol. Out of the box, I also found the trigger to be a bit heavy for my liking. So, I installed the Powder River Precision spring kit (PRP XDS Trigger Spring Kit). I think that it made the trigger much more to my liking.

On the XD ( full size), you cannot rack the slide unless the frame safety is depressed.
It will also no fire unless you grip it properly and depress the frame safety.
I do not know if this applies to their other models as well.
This comes into play in the "injured hand" scenarios and training drills.

Not to mention say you are fighting someone off of you or from the ground and can't get the best grip. Nope sorry don't need a grip safety on a carry gun
Let alone a thumb safety, trigger safety thingy, extra heavy trigger, annnd a grip safety.
XD line, for those who want to own (and maybe carry) a gun but are also kinda scared of guns
The xds recall was because some were going full auto. Nothing about trigger pull.
Like others, I put a PRP spring kit in my XDS 45, and had to go back to the original striker spring when I had misfires due to light hits. I've switched to 185gr bullets to make it more pleasant to shoot. The XDS is my favorite CCW. I'd probably go with the 9mm in the XDS rather than the 45. I shot my friend's XDS in 9mm, and found it much easier on the hand.
I also have a 4" XD in 45acp, and that one is no problem to shoot with heaver loads. They're both great guns. I carry XD in colder weather, XDS in summer.

I'm sure if you take a trip over to Croatia you can get one for a good price (less than a semi xd here in the states) if you get to it before they put a Springfield arm's stamp on it
Who was importing them before SA got their tentacles around them? Didn't they go for $250 originally?

I joke around bashing the XD line not because i think it's a garbage gun (have never shot one, don't care to) if that's what you want or have and or like all for it.
What i hate is Springfield marketing it as if they make the guns then charge way more than they need to (looks like the double the price of the hs2000).
Oh and not to mention for some reason the XD line seems to do nothing correct case in point
1) mod 2
2) we all know the most difficult part of a gun to conceal is the grip, so the XD line decided let's put a smaller barrel/slide on a larger grip frame and say we did it for conceal carry
3) XD-e (and I'm a DA/SA fan, carry a hammer gun myself)
