Worth the wait and money IMO, it's when a company doesn't make it at all, that really drives me nuts.

sometimes the stainless versions are either way more expensive or very hard to find!

A little off the OP's topic but what do you do (or can you do) if you get a scratch in a stainless gun?

Stainless/aluminum anodized, or stainless/polymer is what I prefer. Coated or not. I do a lot of backpacking and will rust the shit out of any gun that isn't stainless steel in a few hours. I no longer carry my steel slide guns, rust is my worst enemy. I love the look of two tone stainless polymer guns the most too.

Just match the finish useing the appropriate sand paper, emory, Polish, blast media.
