Tell ya kev, during the .22 shortage a 4-5 years ago, I musta checked Gander Mountain's website at least 12 times every single day, no bs. Every time they got some in, bam I'd place 2 back to back max orders. Before long I had a nice stockpile.

Just ordered another 100 of .45 HST's. Shocking to see how low TS is on inventory. Took a look at 12 ga and 5.56/223 and there's nothing there worth buying.
Pretty interesting that with the new designed head, it allows the head to be modular to the weapon mounted, handheld, and the pistol light. If you wanted to, you could swap the same head across all the platforms.

Yea i heard rumors back when the owner was teasing more on the pistol light that the whole end goal was modularity with the heads and body.
Other cool thing is, I guess what's taking so long is the owner isn't satisfied with 18350 battery's so he decided they will make their own.

Well getting to see how a PLHv2 actually looks in real life yesterday at the low-light class i took. I can say I haven't seen a light that size destroy darkness like it did. So I have no doubt (not taking cost into consideration) it will destroy the x300u.. downside is it will be easily 100 bucks more
Yeah, Modlite makes great stuff. My OKW is a serious thrower. It’s like a lightsaber. lol But still plenty usable in CQB.
Yea i actually see a lot of big names using the OKW as their handheld

Undoubtedly I'm in the same boat. At the pace I'm actually shooting it, maybe 3-4 lifetimes.

Was at the Watertown Walmart and figured that I'd get a bulk box of the cheap(ish) 12ga shells.
They did not have any on the shelf but did have one box hiding on a top shelf. There was a bunch of 20ga , both Federal & Winchester.
They had a few 100 rd boxes of Remington Nitro 7 1/2 shot as well as 25 rd boxes of various shells. Very little .22 was available.

Saw the DM using one on this week's U boat dive and was drawn right to it. Small polish company, hard to find, but they make the best in the market.
Got three compliments today on how bright it was as I took students out. I clipped it to exit lines or important forked ropes on the Wrecks.
Everybody is an "expert navigator" until the viz is poor, you are low on air, and you think you should have seen the exit line by now. Thing is like a fireworks show underwater.

I used to dive western LI Sound regularly. You learn to navigate. You have no choice.

Looks silly but damned if it hasn't already killed two straggling paper wasp survivors from my scorched earth raid last night already.
Talk about looking silly, a few years ago we used to put up hummingbird feeders. The problem is that they attract yellow jackets to the point where the birds can't get to the feeders. So I would go out there with the shop vac and collect them by the dozens. 3, 4, 5, or more at a time. Broke their wings on the way down the tube. Got so good I could pick 'em out of the air before they landed on the feeder. Waving and swinging the vac tube around out on the front lawn. Neighbors probably thought I was nuts.
