It's not what I wanted to spend my money on but my cheapo lowes one had the head lock up. Plus I just got a bonus so what the hell.

I always liked the cheapos because they were so light and I could just use one arm. But now that I have a large lawn and a lot to do it wasn't cutting it. The nut that takes the head apart is seized hard. But I didn't try everything to get it apart either.

Got this today.
I have a made in Stamford NY MIL Spec AR15 with typical MIL Spec trigger pull.
Got this trigger spring to help. Supposed to still be strong enough to hit heavy primer rounds of which I have a couple military containers.
I'll do some polishing while I'm at it.

Got a good deal on another box of 90 gr TNTs and a Hornady bullet puller with collets. Going to try some push/pull on the Wolf steel case for my Grendel. Won't worry about losing brass when out in a field.

Wasn't in the market for another 22. Found this at Walmart for $99. No charge for the BGC. They threw in the NY required trigger lock
I already have a Ruger 10/22 on the way to local FFL.
I found out that Walmart does special orders for guns. I will try it sometime. No charge for BGC, no shipping fee, no FFL fee.
This is a Savage 62. Interesting that it has the blow back Auto loader. Came with ear plugs.

Took me a few months to put this together. Finished building the screen today.

No pics here, but yesterday ordered the final item for my new deer gun....a spring. More specifically, a sear/trigger return spring for my Ruger 77/44. And the day before I finally ordered the scope for it. I decided on a Leupold 2-7x33 with an illuminated Firedot 4 reticle. Leupold may be discontinuing this offering so I swooped. The icing on the cake for this...the rifle came with rings, but they were 1" highs and I needed 30mm mediums. So I sent Ruger an email and they said send them in and we'll swap them no charge. Can't beat that. Might send the scope to Leupold to get the parallax adjusted.
Tough these days to find a low power scope that doesn't have a crazy MOA, MIL, tactical reticle with dots and dashes all over it. And most of 'em max out with 24mm objectives. I wanted a tad larger but not something that would dwarf this small rifle.
