Did the "flush" mag mod to the Howa mini. The over-sized 5 round magazine now holds 4 but is a much cleaner, and tighter, fit. Feeds and functions fine. Installed the DIP bottom metal, redesigned mag release and bottom metal for the mag.

With only losing 1 round I think it does look much nicer with the mod.. looks good

Howa mini action in 6.5 Grendel. 20" heavy barrel. Picked up the barreled action from Brownell's. B&C stock. DIP bottom metal, mag release and mag floor plate. Flush fit mag modification

Picked up some new carry ammo
115 grain hollow points.
Jk my dad was cleaning out some of his gun stuff and stumbled upon these 2 boxes he doesnt even know how he got them and one isnt even full with half of the rounds looking like hand loads.. with a super deep crimp will not shoot them..

I got (made) this on Sunday. Just in time for Halloween, it's the start of a 10/22 ghost gun. 
This one is kind of a proof of concept type of thing. I'm not sure I'll use this casting (its got some defects), but now I know I can do it.
I also melted some brass to see if I could do it. It worked! Fun fact - dud primers go off when you try and melt them.

So our heating bulb for the Blue tongue blew last night and had to run and get a new one today.
Well turns out I had been using the wrong UV bulb this entire time (I feel like a terrible person for that tbh)
So anyways got the correct uv bulb oh and upgraded her tank to a more appropriate size (40 gallon breeder tank instead of the 20 gal tank that someone gave us for temporary until we got the 40 gal)

Went with the type 2 adjustable 3.25 MOA .
It’s my first time doing business with euro and I’m rather impressed . The price I thought was too good I was a bit skeptical , so much so I verified the serial number with Trijicon.
