It’s a 20 grain powder-less round driven by the primer medium at 590 fps.
Great for basement or garage plinking without the necessity of hearing protection. It won’t cycle a semi auto but it’s a blast in revolvers and single shot rifles.

Never heard of them. Somewhere in my mess I have some Speer .38 plastic bullets that are primer driven.
Yeah we plink with .38 “ waxies” too . Primed .38 casings pushed into a block of paraffin wax. Great Fun on a frigid afternoon in the garage with a brace of revolvers and a cigar .

Brings back memories. My dad and I ruined our black lab by shooting in the basement. We also shortened shotshell casings then put the wads in backwards.

Dad used to mix paraffin and beeswax in a saucepan then pour it into the mould to form .45 Colt bullets. Add a primer and you're good to go. The beeswax made the parrafin soft enough to not splatter in a haybale . You could dig them out and reuse them several times. A magnum primer gave the load a bit more spice. The single action army saw many nights in the basement. I now have a couple boxes of the .38 and .45 speer plastic bullets for just such an occasion.
Side note : the plastic .45 bullets and a magnum primer are a quiet deterrant to your neighbor's cat that wants to shit in your flower bed. The cat's catterwalling is far louder than the innitial pop of the primer. For that matter, my laughing is louder than the primer. For some reason, my neighbor's cat rarely comes to visit anymore.
