My son bought a Suzuki DR350 Street & Trail earlier this year and tore it down to a bare frame to freshen it up for riding season.
He got everything taken care of other than he can't get it to both idle well or run top end right.
. Looks like the carburetor housing is worn and the slide has too much play/ is loose. Reading online this is common for these Mikuni carbs.
The bike is 32 yrs old ( 1990) with 1500ish miles. The carb came off of a dirt only model DR350 ( it has an accerator pump) that was fairly whooped.

I ordered a new carb for the bike . Hopefully it will fix the issue.

It's amazing how much those are needed. I tired to turn a nut with just the blade of a screwdriver, or with a taped grip, stock still had wobble. This took it right out.

Still very few options but my dumb ass didnt stock up pre Covid.
So, I ended up with a bunch of sub par ammo.
And a box of 38Sp tracers. Probably dumb but ill try some night shottin'.

I saw some 10mm ammo up at Runnings in Lockport the other day. I didn't pay any attention as to what it was, since I don't have any use for it, but they had some.

Ive got a couple hundred rounds of Underwood and Double Tap carry ammo.
I was looking for cheap range ammo but everyone just has the 1100 fps wimpo stuff. But its still good for practice.

I was in Runnings in Lockport again today, and I just happened to look at the 10mm ammo on the shelf. They had about 8 boxes of Hornady Critical Duty, 1 box of Hornady Custom, and 8 boxes of PMC. Those are all 20 round boxes, all carry ammo. They also had maybe 10 boxes of Remington ( green & white box ) and a couple boxes of Federal stuff.

Was going to go with a spur and NY trigger guard until I realized it was a molded trigger guard so I will try this instead. NGP barrel extender is pretty cool.

Thordsen FRS-15 Gen 3. I used one for a build that I completed for someone. Probably the best looking NY compliant option that I’ve seen where you can keep detachable magazines.

Well got a decent amount of packages in today.

Got kind of bored so decided to build a range belt (or more appropriately war/battle belt if I was larping) it's almost done, main thing being waiting for the belt to show up (4-6 week lead time) and only things left are holster (going with the Safariland 6360rds) and medical components for the trauma kit.. (2 of the eventual 3 tourniquets [CAT] show up tomorrow)
