I used to have a Single Six and I sold it (that’s another story). I‘ve been wanting another since then. I’ve also always wanted a center-fire single action. I just needed to decide on what caliber.

Well, now I’ve got one of each. I just picked them both up today. A Single Six convertible & a New Model Blackhawk .357 Magnum.
The Blackhawk is going to be sent back to Ruger to be fitted with a 9MM cylinder at some point (I couldn’t find a convertible for sale).

I have a Blackhawk from my birth year....1971...... In 357 with a 6.5 inch barrel.
And a Uberti 1873 Cattleman (Colt SAA clone) in 45 Colt with a 5.5 inch barrel.

I bought the Wrangler above because I love single action but right now using up 357 mag, 38 SP and 45 Colt ammo isnt a great idea. Ive got alot of 357 and 38SP but I wanna save it as best I can. The 22LR is plentiful here locally and good prices.

That fireplace was built in 1947 and the fire box is made out if very thick steel, probably 3/8 or thicker. I seriously think it would stop a 300 Win Mag!!

A couple years ago I found some Black Hills Lehigh Extreme Defense 125 grain 20 round boxes for $17 a box at a local shop. This was alot cheaper than Underwood so I bought 2 boxes.
After doing some testing, I went back and bought 5 more boxes. Ive been carrying it in my Shield ever sense. Great ammo.

Came in last night not much chance to play with it yet but can already tell well worth getting.

Dark Star Gear's Koala mag carrier for Glock 9/40 double stacks.



Here it is with a Glock 17 mag




The mag carrier may seem long but that actually helps with comfort and concealing (this is why they they make almost all of their holsters G34 length)

Also you can see the holes and screw, the holes are to keep the carrier light so it doesn't weigh the sheepdog down incase of having to run and help protect the flock.

Jk the screw and holes are to adjust for different length mags and how the end user wants to wear them (can even toss in an OEM 24 rounder but carry it deep enough that it's like carrying a G19 or 17 magazine)

Here is a pic of someone with a 33rnd stick in the carrier with the hight set 5 holes from the bottom meaning it has the ability to sit even lower..


Now do I plan to carry a 10 round pinned 33rnd stick mag or even 24 mag, haha nope.. but the ability to adjust how high or low my 17 mag sits is really nice

This is probably our 15th Fiskars tool ive bought. I am a HUGE fan.
For 20 years ive been 100% happy with this company.
And I am extremely hard on my tools.
They truly are the best tools and good prices.
I stick with the Fiskars made in Finland......ive heard the China made ones are sub par but ive never used any. The China ones are less expensive but im content with the Finland prices. Worth every penny IMO.
