Post Case Law of Permit holders being revoked!
There's been out-of-state residents in NYC who've been arrested for possession and they walk, because their firearm is legal otherwise! It's a tightrope to walk of course, but they will and would pass a BS law that won't stand the scrutiny by the courts (outside NY) for two purposes...
1. That all the sheep will just blindly follow them (laws)!
2. That they KNOW 99.9% of any case that could possibly expose the law, or have it overturned will NEVER see the inside of a courtroom!!! They'll throw everything, including the kitchen sink at ya' to get you to buckle! So... Again, is love to see some case history whereas a licensed NY State resident has had his/her privilege revoked!

They typically plea bargain cases down and most people don't have the money to fight it much further unfortunately. This is why we are stuck with so much bullshit.

Yep. But after it is "litigated in favor of the State", you lose your permit, you lose your guns, you lose your freedom, job, and possibly family and friends. Then you lose tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars while you sit in a state prison and pay lawyers to appeal it over and over again all the way to the SC. Your sentence might be over and you paroled by the time it gets there.

Any gathering that would be discouraged by such a law is not one these guys need to worry about.
When/if the time for them to worry comes, there is no legislation they could pass that will make a difference.

Once a critical mass of people realize that the system has failed, and only exists anymore to perpetuate itself, then there is a chance to tear it down and build a new one with it's original function of serving the people intact.
It will certainly be a dirty job, but it has to happen eventually.
The irony is that the system would last longer if it tried to fulfil it's proper function than if it abandons it in an attempt to gain more power.

Some people aren’t willing to risk that thus leading to complete obedience and for those who do not comply or fall in line will be casted and labeled as “the other”. They’re literally saying for those who don’t get the jab, they should be denied health care and put in camps. The fact that a large percentage of the population will accept anything just means that the critical mass needs to be larger.
If that percentage is large enough, then it's impossible to form the necessary resistance.
Hopefully enough Americans still have a backbone. Most nations do not.

This bill seems to go against one of the main points of having a firearm - protection from strangers. I'm not really worried about getting mugged in the forest. If anything being around a bunch of strangers is a good reason to have a firearm.

I fear that the country that I love dearly is no longer America where you no longer are allowed to question, challenge or go against the narrative. The part I feared the most is “establish a new normal so when you see something out of the ordinary but legal it would be socially unacceptable thus making it illegal” just like open carry.

It's pretty clear now that in NY, progressive school boards, villages, towns, cities, counties as well as the state can pretty much ignore any ruling from any court that goes against their ability to rule with absolute power. The more conservative areas just jump on social media and complain instead of taking advantage and playing the same game and ignoring any law, rule/regulation or executive order. But that won't happen.
This is the exact reason why I am leaving NY and the fact that NY is done. No balls to play by their rules and create absolute chaos to highlight their ridiculous positions.

Thats just what the left does, they throw shit at the wall because something will stick. They also know that countless unconstitutional laws, mandates, executive orders, messages of necessity, etc.. cant all be challenged so they just play the numbers game while increasing their power.
If law makers were held personally, finacially responsible for laws deemed unconstitutional we would see a whole lot less laws. Term limits would help too as the incentive to accept bribes and break the rules would be alot less.
Just like with this mask mandate bullshit. By the time its finally found unconstitutional most of the population will have been forced to get the vax and then the left will say "oh well, at least we made you all get vaccinated first while you spent your money fighting it in court, who cares if we cant force you to wear masks any more, we still won. AND we fought you with your own money!"

It’s not in the current bill. All firearms are illegal in New York with exceptions. A license is in the exemptions.
