That was IMHO one of the best speeches Trump made. He was calm, confident and on a mission. I was hoping he wouldn't let them goat him and he kept his cool while getting in a few zingers. My two favorites were calling out Pochohontos for wanting endless wars and the other was when he mentioned how the Dems were crying they needed new laws to stop illegal immigration and he said turns out all you needed was a new president. The fact that the Dems sat on their hands for all of the personal human stories and guests put a spotlight even more so on what they are all about. Trump is so good at connecting with people that there is nothing the Dems can do to beat him in the political arena. I really appreciated when Trump explained that no matter what he does, no matter what good he does for this country they can't bring themselves to clap for him or acknowledge anything good about him as president. It set the stage for their approach the rest of the night. They are even more toast then they were before.

What a great speech. The fact that the democrats didnt applaud for the various people he mentioned demonstrates thier own contempt for the people, as if the whole country didnt see that. He named a national wildlife refuge after a murder victim , a little boy with cancer, A wife of a murdered fireman, A kid that made it into West point, Crickets, nothing. If Trump said he was going to kill himself they would be in a dilemma if they would applaud or not.
