On Sunday, July 25, 2021, at approximately 2:18 pm, State Police stopped a vehicle for speeding on the Southern State Parkway eastbound near exit 43 in the town of Islip, Suffolk County.
The driver, Jude Charles, 34 of Darby, Pennsylvania, was driving on a suspended license and found to be in possession of a loaded handgun without a New York pistol permit.
No, they didn't.The officers did a good job.
Lack of context on your part. No, they didn't.
Also, interesting to know that missing paperwork is "must arrest" in the city where violent assault is "catch and release".
It's like they don't care about *actual* crime as much as "respect ma authoritey"
The fact remains, suspended license = missing paperwork.Lack of context on your part.
Suspended license arrest became mandatory after a number of fatal accidents and the drivers had their license suspended numerous times. Suspended license is the punishment for another driving offense and driving is a violation of that punishment. Sort of like violation of one’s parole.
And what I read in the article, he was arrested in Long Island . That’s not New York City. The politics are different than NYC
Not missing paperwork. They are officially banned from driving in the state of New York. The fact remains, suspended license = missing paperwork.
They reason they revoked it is irrelevant.
