is there a way to edit a word putting a strikeout through, you know for sarcasm and all. I kinda clicked all the edit icons while having the word selected but couldn't see a way? Thanks all.

It's in the forum software, it is the last icon on the right.

When I click the very last icon on the right (looks like a letter with corner folded down) it brings nothing up except at the bottom of dialogue box it says "use rich text editor" but clicking that does nothing? What am I doing wrong? Im pretty damn tech savvy too lool

Google "bbcode", commonly used in bulletin board applications.

but I'll help the others..who look to their mods for help, no worries..it's the plus sign in the edit bar brings up features, just select the word you want and hit the plus sign and it's waaaaay easier than the bbcode way.

Com'n man! I went through all that effort to explain it perfectly lol. It's the whole bar of smily,color etc ontop of the reply box. Read two posts up..you'll get what i wrote..unless you're beyond deplorable..

it's gotta be the browser then I'm guessing?? Im Apple, and safari is fine for this place..maybe you're on something else or need to try something else..Chrome usually works well when others don't. Or maybe a mighty Mod may chime into help his brothers in need....Ive tried chrome, dolphin and the default browser on my android phone, all the same, no bar on top. There is a problem on Android phones using the dark theme.
If you go to desktop mode in your browser, the editing bar reappears.

@Criticalt It's because you had turned off "Use the rich text editor to create and edit messages" in your preferences. I turned it back on for you so you're all set.
As far as the smilies not showing up on portrait mode, I am aware of it and trying to fix it. In the meantime you can turn your phone sideways to access the smilies.
Thank you for that. I am computerly challenged. I dont even have internet. I have a desktop and a laptop but both sit in a box. I use my Note 5 for everything.

I don't know why that's said over and over but it does not work. I've even posted screenshots of my phone sideways with no smileys.
Default/ light mode or desktop mode is the only way to access the smileys.
Works on mine, that's why I suggest it.
