Study: Physically Weak Men More Likely To Be Socialists

Surprise, surprise. Men who are physically weak are more likely to favor socialist policies.

An academic study from researchers at Brunel University London assessed 171 men, looking at their height, weight, overall physical strength and bicep circumference, along with their views on redistribution of wealth and income inequality. The study, published in the Evolution and Human Behavior journal, found that weaker men were more likely to favor socialist policies than stronger men.

Other studies in the past have also suggested stronger men are more right-wing than physically weaker men. "Researchers found that men's opinions on redistribution of wealth could be predicted by their upper body strength, with powerful men more likely to take a conservative stance of protecting their own interests," noted The Telegraph of a 2013 study from Aarhus University in Denmark. ​

That's not even something that's limited to here in the states. It's becoming a popular trend all over the place. Why do they want and choose to stay with mommy and daddy at that age? Do they even pay any rent or help out at all? To me it always seemed embarrassing to bring your girlfriend or a date over to your parents house when you're no longer a teenager too. It's just awkward being pampered while choosing to be in a relationship that should show the ability and desire to be independent in some fashion.

Of course im not surprised. And ive been talking about the phenomenon of the technology age making us weaker as a species, and leading society towards a "big brother" mentality. People who are less able to defend themselves (or just afraid to) will look to govt to protect them.

Of course there are plenty of people who are physically smaller/weaker, and performing tech jobs that are still badasses, and polar opposites of the liberal progressives, but..... i see a trend towards exactly what this study is about.
