Supreme Court's next big gun control case? Post-Newtown laws face new scrutiny

I don't think any big gun control cases should be brought before SCOTUS right now. There is a "waffling conservative" justice sitting on the bench. Trump needs to appoint another "pro 2nd Amend" justice to this court. The stakes are too high. We (law abiding gun owners) could lose.

I'd say if it goes to the Supreme Court we win and they can't be banned. It's the most common riffle in America how can it be uniquely dangerous. That's what's needed to ban them. I'd love to see it go. Also the new one I forget what one in Maryland I'd say they don't even challenge it because they will loose. They have lost a lot of rulings lately in Maryland. I hope they keep loosing and lose their minds.

We ONLY have two pro-gun Conservatives (justices Thomas and Gorsuch); Alito and Roberts proved to be too interested in pleasuring themselves smelling votive candles and reading their bibles than to care about gun rights, Kennedy has been better on guns than not.

Trump needs to get some justices into SCOTUS that like all 10 amendments in the Bill of Rights. Granted the 2nd protects the others; but there are some major issues going on with some of the others. I believe the first amendment is why churches don't pay taxes. I suspect that's a ton of revenue being left on the table at a time when America has $20 trillion debt and $80 trillion in unsecured obligations. Some could easily argue that the fourth amendment is being violated as cops are shooting unarmed women in their pajamas in Minnesota and unloading 50 rounds at a time into NY visitors reaching for their wallets. So at some point I assume SCOTUS might chime in about limits on how police do their duties. I believe there are issues with the Patriot Act as it pertains to the 6th amendment. Amendment 9 is a biggie too - how can the NSA have taped every one of our phone calls ever made, every email ever sent, every social media post, etc. and the Americans citizens were not even told until Snowden said something? And with regard to the 10th amendment, it seems plausible that there are some really unconstitutional federal agencies.
