Syracuse Gun Show Sept. 16/17

I have not been out to this show in 7 years, Last time was right after I bought my Honda in 2010! It always fell on the same weekend as our Appleseed shoot at the Club! And I also was not sure about making the trip with my 2000 Honda CRV ( I know the car would have made it, never a problem in 7 years) in the later years.

Well the stars have aligned this fall! The Appleseed shoot has been moved to the third weekend of Oct. and I just got a new to me 2016 Honda CRV! So I am planning on a road trip, Have a few friends that are interested in going with me as well.

Look forward to meeting other forum members that may also be attending!!

From the west the 1st Syracuse exit (39) and take RT690 East. Follow the signs. Not sure if there's a short cut coming from the east, but in reality the fairgrounds is only a few miles from exit 39.

Exit 39 is west of the fairgrounds(towards bville)...gonna want to hit up 690E and take the fairground exit.

I figured that was a given , but you're right, exit 39 doesn't exit at or near the fairgrounds. You'll have to travel another couple of miles down 690 east to the fairgrounds exit that gets off near the front gate

youll need to learn a few things as times have changed.

1. Open carry the largest rifle you have
2. park in handicap spot
3. Yell fire when you leave
4. leave the wallet at home
