I remember that as well. I first attended the Syracuse Gun show back in 1978. My very first purchase there was a Remington 1100 / 20ga. With a 28" Polly choked barrel. I still have that gun.

My brother owns The Beginning II in Est Syracuse, 10-15 minutes from the fair grounds. He has great wings, a good menu and lots of cold beer. If you decide to go, let me know and I'll let him know you'll are coming. Good sports bar and lots of TV, nice patio out back. Let me know!

I will be there Saturday as well probably get there around 10ish to 11ish. I normally try to get there when the doors open but I will probably have jet lag and it is a 1 1/2 hour drive from my house so I am being lazy this year.
Anybody from Buffalo area thinking of going? I'm thinking about going up Sat AM, leaving Buffalo around 7:30-8AM for the day. I drive a Honda Odyssey, and could take up to 3 others, while still leaving some room for purchases... we could meet up by one of the airport hotels.
